The Multicultural Coalition Board of Directors Guidance for 2005-06

The Multicultural Coalition Board of Directors had the opportunity this past summer to meet for an entire morning to discuss the future of the Multicultural Coalition.  The following is a reflection of where the coalition is headed and guidance.
  

Encourage minority business leadership     The Multicultural Coalition also wants to perceived as a group working with minority business and leaders
Breaking down barriers     Diversity education within the community
Identify board members to help advance the     coalition      Continuation of recruiting board members who have a passion for the Grand Island community and a belief that cultural diversity brings with it social, cultural, and economic benefits
Establishing Funding     The Multicultural Coalition Board of Directors agreed on the importance of becoming a self sustained organization
